Celebrating

There's a lot of planning to weddings and it's easy to just plan and work and to forget to actually celebrate and have fun with all the pre-prep. Last night my friend Maria threw a bridal shower for Annie. It was great and I felt like we were finally celebrating instead of just talking about it! I have made a decision on a dress and I just need shoes and a wrap. Everything's slowly coming together.

Big Plans

One of our adult students at the school where I work was chatty the other day. He wanted to tell me all about his plans for the future. They're all about making plans and then making the plans happen at our school! I think this guy's plan needs a bit of refining,however,although maybe this is the first plan he's ever made and this is the best we can do at this point. Anyhoo, his plan goes like this: He'll get a job here in Saskatoon so he can make enough money to move to Vancouver and live in a homeless shelter. Shoot for the stars,I say.
