The end of July is here already and we're hurtling headlong into August. It's been such a hot month and our air conditioning isn't working so we're hoping to get that fixed ASAP. August holds a lot of excitement for us. The birth of our first grandchild, Bobby is coming home for a visit, and I get the whole month off as I continue to recover from surgery. I'll be off til at least Sept.12. YAHOO!!! I'm not feeling all that bad either. I just can't lift or vacuum or anything that sounds like caretaking.
As for our only child at home,Matt, he's been having a blast. Roaring around with friends,swimming, playing Tilo(sp?), golfing....... He even got to be a zombie in an independent film production. Imagine walking down Broadway Ave. at 4 A.M. in zombie make-up being filmed for a movie? Every boy's dream.

It's now August 21st and we have a new grandchild, Bobby is home and Matthew still is a zombie.
I forgot to tell you we got an energy-efficient furnace and central air for $1800.
Not hooked up yet, but soon I hope. It's been 30 - 35 degrees the past couple of days!
